Gloria Ilunga

Professional Biography

Gloria is an articling student in the Toronto office of Ogletree Deakins.

Gloria holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health and Disease, and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto.

In law school, Gloria worked for the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP). During her time at CLASP, Gloria represented low-income clients before administrative boards like the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, the Refugee Protection Division and the Immigration Appeal Division. While in law school, Gloria was also the BLSA-Canada (Black Law Students’ Association) Representative. Gloria planned events and liaised between the national and local BLSA chapters.

Prior to law school, Gloria worked in the University College Dean of Students’ Office and in the Career Exploration and Education Centre at the University of Toronto.

In her spare time, Gloria enjoys reading, crocheting, and exploring the city.
