Professional Biography

Tess Lane focuses her practice on various areas of litigation, including environmental, white-collar defense and bankruptcy.

Prior to joining the firm, Tess served as a legal intern for the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission in Boston, Massachusetts. There, she worked closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in conducting legal research and contributing to the development of regulations, policies, protocols, and other written statements. She also conducted comprehensive analysis of the statutes, regulations, policies, and practices of other jurisdictions with governmental bodies tasked with overseeing police conduct.

Before that, Tess was a teaching assistant at the Northeastern Law School Prisoners’ Rights Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. Additionally, she was a legal intern for the Victim Rights Law Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Tess worked as a Victim Witness Advocate in both the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office and the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
