Blake Ronnebaum is a registered patent attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and is an associate in Polsinelli’s Chemical Science Patent Prosecution practice in Kansas City. While earning his Chemical Engineering degree, Blake studied the structure and behavior of materials both on a large scale and at the molecular level and gained a wide range of experience, from studying bacterial adhesion to chemical surface patterns to working in the electricity generation industry.

During his time at Polsinelli, Blake has used this skills to help clients identify creative ways to protect the compositions and processes they have invented. Blake’s experience includes drafting patent applications, prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, assisting clients with due diligence investigations, and more.

Blake has experience assisting clients in the pharmaceutical, animal health, chemical processing, hydrogen generation, biotechnology, and medical device industries.
