Doug is a member of the Environmental and Toxic Tort Practice Groups. His experience covers all aspects of discovery and trial preparation, including taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and oral arguments. He has worked extensively with experts in product liability litigation, including experts in industrial hygiene and exposure assessment. Doug's trial experience includes assistance in the representation of an international manufacturer of chemicals, flavors, and fragrances in multiple jury trials to verdict. Doug has also successfully represented his clients, including individuals and small businesses, in trials to the bench and mediations in both Ohio and Kentucky. He has presented at trade and professional organizations on topics such as Hazard Communication and OSHA record-keeping requirements. Doug also pursues expertise in building energy performance and climate change, writing articles, giving presentations, and providing commentary on these emerging areas of environmental law.
