George’s practice is focused on all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, and other employment-related litigation and counseling. He also represents clients on labor and executive compensation matters.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, George practiced as an associate with other large firms, handling large-scale employment and commercial litigation matters, including WARN Act and FLSA class actions, employment discrimination and harassment matters, commercial breach of contract actions, corporate dissolution proceedings and actions to enforce restrictive covenants. He has also drafted executive compensation agreements and advised on compliance of nonqualified deferred compensation plans and stock option plans under section 409A. George also spent several years as a legal analyst for Bloomberg L.P., where he was integral in building the labor and employment platform of the company’s online legal research product, including managing an extensive database of labor and employment-related statutes, regulations, and decisions, as well as researching, editing and publishing scholarly articles and other advisory materials.
