iThe Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson office. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins, and Commissioners Franc Lee and Tom Gresham all participated. The following matters were considered:
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Chairman Hopkins announced that Executive Director Allen Godfrey would be retiring effective August 31, 2021, and that the Commissioners had selected Deputy Director Jay McDaniel to become the next Executive Director of the Commission.
LICENSING
The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

SG Gaming, Inc., as a Multi-Site Wide Area Progressive Operator
