Aileen Tan provides regulatory and general legal counsel to clients across the financial services industry, including securities broker-dealers and commodities markets participants. Aileen also advises on financial regulatory and legal issues surrounding cryptoassets, and assists with the structuring and marketing of private investment funds, including crypto hedge funds.

While in law school, Aileen served as an editor of the Columbia Law School Foundation Moot Court Program and was a member of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. Prior to joining Katten, Aileen interned with the Federal Public Defender — Western District of Washington.
