Amanda Vaccaro is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in litigation, mediation and arbitration involving a wide range of employment-related claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and various state wage payment and human rights laws, as well as breach of contract and tort claims.
Recently, Ms. Vaccaro served as co-counsel in a jury trial in federal court, in which Jackson Lewis’ client prevailed on all counts. Ms. Vaccaro also provides counsel and training to employers to help them avoid litigation. She regularly advises employers on various employment-related issues, including hiring, performance management, leave, termination, employment contracts, personnel policies and handbooks.
