Bert Stemmler is an experienced, business-focused attorney concentrating in the formation and operation of private investment funds and their investment managers. Before joining Polsinelli, Bert acted as Head of Legal and Compliance at a VC fund management company and an accelerator operator for early-stage companies in crypto/digital assets. Prior to that, Bert was a partner at a private practice in New York City, where he focused on counseling investment advisor clients with respect to fund formation and regulatory compliance matters. He advised hedge funds, private equity funds, VC funds, and crypto/digital asset funds as well as their sponsors.
