Brent Armitage is an Associate of the Firm.

Brent’s practice focuses on corporate transactions, including venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, securities law compliance, and other general corporate and business matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Brent Armitage worked at a boutique transactional law firm, where he advised startup companies and investors.  He also previously worked at Product School Inc., where he helped facilitate the company’s expansion into new territories across the United States and Europe, as well as cultivated new partnership opportunities.

Brent received his B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University, where he graduated cum laude.  He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he concentrated in corporate law and graduated with Honors.  He also competed as a member of Loyola’s Transactional Negotiation Team.

Brent is a partner of Social Venture Partners, Los Angeles, where he contributes to the accelerator program by counseling early-stage non-profit organizations on how to grow and scale. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
