Carla Ji-Eun Kim is a director in the Biotechnology/Chemical Practice Group. She focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the areas of biotechnology such as pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostics, cancer therapeutics, gene therapy, and antibodies.  She also has extensive experience in freedom to operate studies on biologics and  manufacturing process and prepares patentability, infringement and validity opinions.
