Professional Biography

Christine Stoddard is a trusted advisor and creative problem-solver who assists insurance and financial services clients with litigation and regulatory matters. Christine represents clients in high-stakes civil litigation and class actions in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings throughout the nation.

Christine has assisted clients in disputes related to policy lapses, annuity transactions, fraud claims and matters involving the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and numerous state consumer protection laws, including California’s Unfair Competition Law.  

Christine also counsels insurance and InsurTech clients regarding compliance with state and federal laws, helping them navigate novel questions and complex legal and regulatory issues. 

Additionally, Christine advises clients providing buyer-side representation and warranty insurance policies throughout the claims process and in arbitration. She has assisted clients with claims for indemnification and post-claim disputes related to financial statements, material adverse effect clauses, material contracts, intellectual property and various legal compliance issues.

Prior to her law career, Christine gained experience in scientific jury selection through her work in the trial consulting industry. She also served as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
