Daniel J. Ganz

Professional Biography

Daniel Ganz is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's Century City office.

Daniel represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation in state and federal court and in arbitration proceedings. He has defended employers against allegations of wage-and-hour violations, discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation, among others. Daniel also advises and counsels clients on a wide variety of labor and employment issues, including compliance with state and federal laws and applicable collective bargaining agreements. He has represented employers in single-plaintiff lawsuits and class actions, as well as representative actions brought under the California Private Attorneys General Act. Daniel represents employers in a variety of industries including entertainment, manufacturing, education, retail trade, and public services.

Daniel earned his law degree concurrently with a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine, where his doctoral research focused on the fields of labor economics and political economy. During law school Daniel served as the Senior Research Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. He also participated in the UCI Law Moot Court Competition and was deeply involved in the school’s pro bono program, completing over 300 hours of pro bono service.
