Darius Walker, Jr.

Professional Biography

Darius Walker, Jr. is an Associate at Ogletree Deakins' Nashville office. He focuses his practice on representing employers in labor and employment matters, including litigation involving discrimination, harassment, class and collective actions, wage and hour issues, and proceedings before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

In addition to his litigation practice, Darius often advises clients on all aspects of employment law, including complex issues related to discharge, discipline, discrimination investigations, leave, and layoffs. Darius also helps clients prepare and implement a full range of employment policies.

Darius received his law degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in law school, Darius served on the University of Memphis Law Review, and the Moot Court Board. During his time at Memphis, Darius received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trademarks/Unfair Competition and Trial Advocacy. Darius also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Bernice B. Donald in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable John T. Fowlkes, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
