David focuses his practice on state and local tax matters. He represents clients in all stages of tax controversy from audit through appellate litigation. He also provides planning and compliance strategies for clients with complex multistate tax concerns.

While in law school, David served as senior editor of the Rutgers Race & the Law Review. He also served as a law clerk for the Federal Tax Clinic in Newark, New Jersey, and was treasurer for the Rutgers Tax Law Society. In 2019, David was awarded the Charles Davenport Prize in Tax Law.
