  • David Braswell leads the Corporate Services practice group of the firm, which was recently named one of the top three best corporate law firms in St. Louis by Corporate Board Member magazine. David concentrates his practice in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and finance, and regularly counsels public and private companies and banks on a broad spectrum of legal issues. He represents clients in transactional matters of all types and sizes, including asset and stock acquisitions, reorganizations, securities registrations, private placements and financings. He advises public companies on various SEC compliance issues, including investigations and enforcement proceedings, and assists boards of directors and committees on strategic matters, governance issues, shareholder disputes and internal investigations.

    David also has extensive experience in advising clients on venture capital and organizational matters affecting entrepreneurs, investors and emerging companies. In addition, he serves on several boards of directors, including not-for-profit organizations.
