Edwin Nazario advises clients regarding physical oil and gas trading, derivatives transactions and Dodd-Frank Act compliance. He is experienced with negotiating, drafting, and assisting energy traders and in-house counsel with oil and gas purchase and sale agreements, general terms and conditions, ISDA Master Agreements, netting agreements, guarantees, letters of credit, trade confirmations and master purchase and sale agreements. Edwin also advises clients in connection with the negotiation and drafting of energy-related credit facilities and related hedging agreements.

Edwin provides counsel to clients regarding Dodd-Frank compliance issues relating to swaps, including both the ISDA March 2013 and August 2012 Dodd-Frank Protocols, commodity options, the end-user exception to the clearing requirement for swaps, and conflict minerals reporting. Edwin also liaises with the enforcement staff at the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission regarding Dodd-Frank compliance issues and assists clients with related filings.
