George Pelling is a special counsel in the Finance Practice in Cadwalader's London office.

George advises in connection with domestic and international financing transactions, with a particular focus on Fund Finance (both asset backed and capital call facilities).  

George also has experience advising investment funds and financial institutions on the acquisition and sale of syndicated bank loans, debt instruments, bond claims and other distressed assets.

Prior to joining Cadwalader, George was an associate in the Media Finance department at Sheridans, where he specialised in film finance. George graduated from Newcastle University, where he obtained a First Class Honours degree in History. He completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and is admitted to practice in England & Wales.
