  • Jack Wenik, a Member of Sills Cummis & Gross,  has extensive federal and state bench and jury trial experience, both civil and criminal. Mr. Wenik has represented a wide array of corporations and individuals in complex civil litigation and grand jury investigations. He has particular expertise representing major health care institutions and physicians in federal and state government investigations and other proceedings. He also has extensive experience representing pharmaceutical companies in product liability litigation and dietary supplement companies in FTC litigation and proceedings. Mr. Wenik also counsels health care institutions, individuals and corporations on regulatory matters.

    Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Wenik was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for both the Eastern Districts of New York and Pennsylvania.

    Mr. Wenik has been selected for inclusion in the 2010-2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® published by Woodard/White under Commercial Litigation, and has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, its highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He is Co-Chair of the Firm's Professional Relations Committee and Chair of the Firm's Litigation Training Committee.

     He received his J.D. from Yale University, School of Law in 1985, where he was Editor of the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Law & Policy Review.  He received his B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa,  from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982.  He is admitted to practice in  New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
