Jamie Watkins Bruno focuses her practice on banking and real estate matters. She assists a wide variety of commercial lenders, from local and community banks to national banking associations, on all aspects of commercial financial transactions, including acquisition, development and construction loans secured by real property. Jamie also has experience with asset-based lending, federal and state historic rehabilitation and federal low-income tax credit transactions and loan workouts.

Jamie has been named among Virginia's "Legal Elite" by Virginia Business magazine (2016). She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association and serves on the communications committee for the Richmond Bar Association. In addition, she is a board member (secretary) for the Richmond chapter of the Risk Management Association. She was also a board member (legal counsel) for The Richard Bland College Foundation from 2013-2015. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal assistant in Washington, D.C., conducting legal research and preparing materials for depositions. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
