Kadeem Wolliaston focuses his legal practice on insurance defense, commercial litigation and appellate matters. He handles cases in a variety of jurisdictions, including New York state and federal courts. Kadeem’s experience and education enable him to defend clients strategically in employment, general liability, product and construction defects, and heath care claims.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Kadeem worked at a prominent regional law firm and as an appellate court attorney at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department. Kadeem’s unique court experience, affords him the opportunity to handle matters involving niche areas of law effectively, and persuasively advocate for his clients.

During law school, Kadeem was a pro bono scholar, a member of the Black Law Student Association and a law clerk at Albany City Court, Criminal Part, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. He has written multiple articles and blogs on various legal topics.

Kadeem continues to support the local community through his involvement with the firm’s pro bono initiative.
