Lauren is an associate attorney with a background in finance. She is currently working with the corporate and tax teams as well as the banking, finance and restructuring team. 

While in law school, Lauren served as a legal intern for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board–one of the world’s largest retirement funds–where she researched and wrote articles on a variety of legal issues including tax law and public records. She also reviewed and drafted provisions of various private equity agreements and derivatives policies and analyzed K-1 tax schedules to identify withholding discrepancies and sources of loss. Her undergraduate experience included serving as a finance intern with Great Lakes Commercial Finance and the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce, where she analyzed financials and lending applications for the financing of small businesses through the CDC/504 Loan Program.

As an undergraduate, Lauren was named to Michigan State University Honors College and was an Academic Scholar.
