Marie-José van der Heijden focuses her practice on corporate law, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, international trade, economic sanctions and export controls, anti-bribery laws and internal investigations. She is experienced in finance, restructuring, securities offerings, disputes related to acquisitions, and assists corporations in regulatory and compliance matters such as ongoing (disclosure) obligations. Her experience includes international restructuring, mergers, securities offerings, dual listings in the Netherlands and the US, anti-takeover measures, internal investigations, and counseling on ongoing disclosure obligations and corporate governance matters. Marie-José also counsels clients on sanctions and export control and European trade and customs related matters. She is a guest lecturer on corporate law and private international law.
