Mike Sawers partners with individual and corporate clients across the country to solve problems facing those doing business in a variety of industries. Mike represents individuals in response to inquiries from law enforcement agencies and government regulators in investigations, civil enforcement proceedings and criminal prosecutions. He has extensive experience leading sensitive litigation from pretrial investigation through trial and appeal.

His clients range from transportation and agribusiness industry leaders to financial services companies. His experience in high-stakes litigation in several subject matters enables him to quickly learn about a client and their business needs and develop a legal strategy to achieve the client’s goals.

Before joining the firm, Mike gained first-chair trial experience and led teams through pretrial proceedings ranging from drafting initial pleadings through trial. He also has experience helping clients navigate inquiries from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and various state regulatory agencies. Mike also helps clients investigate and respond to allegations of internal misconduct and fraud.
