Dr. Wang’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, patent interference and patent litigation. Dr. Wang has drafted, filed and prosecuted several thousand patent applications in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemical/organic chemistry and medical devices.
She is also experienced in counseling clients on issues of patentability, noninfringement, freedom-to-operate, validity and design around. Dr. Wang has extensive experience in due diligence work in connection with mergers and acquisitions in the biotechnology industry, having been involved in nearly 100 deals. In addition Dr. Wang is experienced at negotiating license agreements in the biotech industry.
Dr. Wang has drafted and prosecuted thousands of patent applications and
handled more than 30 patent interference cases and several patent litigation matters, including 337 actions. She has over ten years of experience in the fields of molecular biology, immunology, neuroscience and cancer research.She was the recipient of the Eliot Stellar Award from the Philadelphia Chapter, Society for Neuroscience, and the Lapides Award given by the American Urological Society. Dr. Wang has published numerous research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
