Rich Nguyen-Le assists businesses, financial institutions and other entities on tax planning. He focuses on tax issues related to asset-backed securitizations, debt transactions and corporate transactions, assisting clients with managing and reducing tax risks.

Passion for knowing the ins and outs of a tough body of law

Prior to joining Katten, Rich was an infantry officer in the United States Army. He directly managed multimillion-dollar assets and 160+ personnel, displaying his hands-on and detail-oriented personality.

During law school, Rich gained experience in the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Tax Division of the Department of Justice, and in the information hub of a major tax preparation company.
