Rouzbeh "Robbie" Alipour is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Tax group.

Robbie has experience with U.S. federal and international income tax matters with an emphasis on structuring, documenting and reporting domestic and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining Vedder, Robbie spent several years as in-house tax counsel for public technology and advertising companies in Seattle and New York and as a tax associate for a global law firm based in Chicago. Robbie has focused his practice on tax-efficient planning for intercompany and third-party transactions of U.S.-based multinationals with significant global footprints.  Robbie also has experience advising companies regarding a wide range of tax issues such as:

• Evaluating outbound and inbound international tax regulations applying to multinational businesses

• Planning and implementing internal restructurings, tax compliance systems, and other structures with a network of U.S. and non-U.S. tax departments, lawyers and other stakeholders

• Tax matters relating to acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business formations, combinations and divestitures

Robbie received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. He received a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of South Florida and his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida.
