Sabine Smith-Vidal is a partner in Morgan Lewis’s Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Smith-Vidal has more than 20 years of experience advising French and international companies in cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings, and the establishment of pension plans, employee savings plans, and social plans and relationships with staff representatives. She also serves as counsel to corporations on multijurisdictional employment issues, including international mergers, restructurings, pension plans, trade union law, and outsourcing and individual and collective dismissals. Ms. Smith-Vidal also assists clients with litigation related to labor disputes.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Smith-Vidal was a partner in and head of the labor and employment department of another international law firm, resident in Paris.
Ms. Smith-Vidal earned her D.E.A. in social law from the Université de Paris II Panthéon Assas in 1987, and she graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, in 1983.
Ms. Smith-Vidal is admitted to practice in Paris since 1991 and received a specialization in labor law and social security law from the Law Society of Paris.
