Thomas C. Borders, PC, is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Chicago office. His federal tax controversy practice involves audits, administrative appeals, litigation and criminal investigations. Tom has worked on numerous U.S. and international tax cases involving corporate tax matters as well as analysis of tax incentive investments, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing issues, valuation, finance and accounting issues. He also represents both law and accounting firms in malpractice actions and advises them on issues related to compliance with U.S. tax obligations.
