Mike Sellers is an associate in Bracewell & Giuliani’s technology practice. His practice focus is on patent prosecution, client counseling and intellectual property-related litigation. Mike’s experience includes patent prosecution of chemical, petroleum, mechanical and electrical technologies; advising clients and educating employees on various legal and business matters; drafting licenses and business transaction agreements; and negotiations. In addition to his transactional practice, Mike has experience with intellectual property litigation (including patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation) and general commercial litigation.
Mike has held several positions during his legal career, including as an in-house intellectual property attorney with a global chemical company. Prior to his legal career, Mike held consulting and engineering positions for several years with companies including Aspen Technology Inc. and Union Carbide Corporation.
