Amanda Brosy is an associate in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Environmental Group. Her practice involves client counseling on compliance with federal and state environmental laws and regulations, resolving liabilities under federal and state remediation programs, and advising clients on significant environmental liability and compliance issues arising in various types of transactions. She also assists with administrative appeals and environmental litigation in state and federal courts. In the past, Ms. Brosy has worked closely with Connecticut’s Transfer Act and Remediation Standard Regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brosy practiced law in New York, where she gained substantial experience counseling municipal clients on compliance with numerous federal, state, and local laws, orders, and regulations. Ms. Brosy provided counsel on land use matters and compliance with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act in particular.
