Taking a business-smart approach when negotiating corporate transactions
Miran applies his prior experience as in-house corporate counsel to examine business issues from a client's perspective. He understands that managing risk and protecting the client's legal interests are only a part of the answer to any business concern. In order to close deals, he finds creative solutions to difficult problems. This includes fostering cooperation between counterparties while creating efficiencies that can reduce overall response times.
Prior to joining Katten, Miran was an associate in the corporate department of a large, 1,100 attorney international law firm and was corporate counsel at a $21 billion dollar multinational corporation.
