  • Aldo is the chair of the intellectual property section.  He practices in the area of domestic and international intellectual property rights, including patents, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks. His practice focuses on software, hardware, digital media, interactive television, e-commerce and business methods. Aldo’s work includes strategic analysis for the development, management and exploitation of intellectual property portfolios, client counseling, IP audits, due diligence opinions, IP valuations, licensing and litigation. His practice also includes supervising the preparation and prosecution of patents, as well as providing opinions and advice regarding patentability, freedom to practice, infringement and validity issues.  Aldo's litigation practice includes intellectual property rights litigation in the "Rocket Docket" Eastern District of Virginia and before the United States International Trade Commission.
