Taylor focuses his practice on all areas of intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent prosecution, patent litigation, and various trademark and copyright issues. He has experience in obtaining and enforcing patents in the areas of biotechnology, medical devices, semiconductor fabrication and packaging, oilfield technology and a variety of mechanical arts.
Taylor has experience in patent prosecution and litigation matters. His patent prosecution work includes drafting U.S. and foreign patent applications and responding to office actions from the U.S. Patent Office as well as from other patent offices throughout the world. Additionally, his patent litigation experience includes handling discovery, infringement analysis and motion practice. He has assisted clients with due diligence reviews related to intellectual property matters, including patentability opinions and invalidity studies.
