Mississippi Gaming Commission Meeting Report March 18 Meeting

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. by videoconference. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins and Commissioners Franc Lee and Tom Gresham all participated. The following matters were considered:


The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

  • Aruze Gaming America, Inc., as a Manufacturer and Distributor

  • Dynasty Games, as a Manufacturer and Distributor


The Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons or entities:

  • Stadium Technology Group, LLC and BetMGM, LLC – John Michael Barry Gibson 

  • SG Gaming, Inc./OpenBet Technologies Limited/ NYX Digital Gaming (USA) LLC/ Don Best Sports Corporation – Patrick Gardner Moore 

  • Genius Sports Media, Inc. – Nicholas Charles Fraser Taylor 


The Commission approved requests for approval for the following:

  • IGT

    • Transfer of the Equity Interests or Securities of B & D Holding S.p.A

  • End of Other Approvals
