With the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) looming, Californian lawmakers have affirmed their intention to enact stringent privacy protections, with the legislature adjourning without making any major changes to the state’s landmark privacy laws.

With the CCPA taking effect on the first day of 2020, and uncertainty remaining as to the future actions of Congress, time is running short for relevant organisations who collect, use, process, store or share personal information to prepare for compliance with the CCPA.
