Senate TRACED Act Bandwagon Rolls On
Wednesday, April 10, 2019

Since our last update, S. 151, the US Senate version of the TRACED Act, has picked up another thirteen supporters. Almost half of the Senate membership, forty-five Senators, are now on the TRACED Act bandwagon. Latest to hop on are seven Democrats (Senators Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada, Chris Van Hollen and Benjamin Cardin of Maryland, Kamala Harris of California, Gary Peters of Michigan, Jack Reed of Rhode Island, and Tina Smith of Minnesota) and six Republicans (Senators John Barrasso of Wyoming, Pat Roberts of Kansas, John Cornyn of Texas, Martha McSally of Arizona, John Boozman of Arkansas and Mike Rounds of South Dakota). The bi-partisan support remains effectively evenly split with twenty-two Republicans and the same number of Democrats, plus one Independent.
