Alamea Deedee Bitran

Professional Biography

Deedee graduated from the University of Florida with a 3.99 GPA and is currently in the top 5% of her class at the Florida International University College of Law. Deedee received book awards in: (1) Employment Discrimination, (2) Employment Law, (3) Focused Topics in Employment Discrimination Seminar, and (4) Medical Malpractice. While at FIU Law, Deedee won six national writing contests and secured publication agreements with the Women's Rights Law Reporter at Rutgers Law, Elon Law Review, and the FIU Law Review. Deedee is an Articles Editor on the FIU Law Review and a member of FIU Law’s appellate moot court team. She is also President of FIU's Employment and Labor Law Society. When Deedee is not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandparents, five younger siblings, husband, and cats.
