Mr. Hatch provides cost-effective and efficient counsel to clients in the oil and gas and real estate industries. His primary experience includes drilling title, division order, financing, and acquisition title opinions. Mr. Hatch also has considerable experience with federal units, leasing, purchasing, drafting oil and gas contracts and agreements, federal and state specific land issues, split estate issues, conservation easements, water law, and mining law. In the area of upstream oil and gas development, Mr. Hatch regularly advises his clients on various and complex oil and gas leasing and development issues on state, federal, tribal, and private lands.

He is admitted to practice in Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Mr. Hatch leads the oil and gas title group in New Mexico, which works together to handle drilling, division order, financing, and acquisition title opinions.
