Mark Fucci has substantial experience in restructurings, insolvencies and complex financial transactions. Mark was named as a key individual by the Legal 500 when it awarded Bingham its highest ranking in the category of corporate restructuring advice to creditors and financial institutions. Resident in the firm’s Tokyo office since 2007, Mark has represented creditor clients in a number of major cross-border insolvencies, including Spansion, a case involving parallel U.S. and Japan insolvency proceedings. Mark, working closely with Bingham’s bengoshi, also represents offshore investors in major Japanese insolvency cases including Re-plus, New City REIT and SFCG. Before moving to Japan, Mark represented the Ad Hoc Committee of Senior Secured Lenders in the Delta Air Lines Chapter 11 case. The committee, comprised of over 60 insurance companies, hedge funds and other investors, holds more than $2.5 billion in leveraged lease debt and deficiency claims. For its role in Delta, Jane’s Transport Finance awarded Bingham its prestigious Airline Restructuring Deal of the Year Award.
