Professional Biography

Grant Williamson is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Grant provides counsel to clients in commercial real estate transactions, general corporate matters, and commercial financing, including commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions (including the acquisition and financing of long term care and senior housing facilities), corporate formation and management, and secured lending and loan modifications.

He has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documents, construction documents, purchase and sale agreements, ground lease and space lease agreements, operating agreements, and other documents and agreements for various real estate development projects.

In addition to his real estate transactional work, Grant has experience performing audits for healthcare providers to ensure compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act and other laws, as well as experience drafting and implementing real estate compliance policies for healthcare providers.

  • Represented a lender in the closing of a $33.25 million, 3-site loan portfolio for skilled nursing facilities in Georgia.
  • Represented a lender in the closing of a $42.5 million, 2-site loan portfolio for skilled nursing facilities in Pennsylvania.
  • Represented a lender in the closing of an $89 million, 15-site loan portfolio for skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and independent living facilities in Ohio.
  • Represented a borrower in the acquisition of a $39 million loan to refinance two skilled nursing facilities in Indiana.
  • Represented a borrower in the acquisition of a $74.510 million loan to acquire eleven skilled nursing facilities in Arkansas and Mississippi.
  • Represented a buyer in the $33 million acquisition of nearly 1,000 acres of land for residential use.
