H. Scott Miller’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, in his representation of institutional lenders, pension fund managers, national and local real estate developers, banks, individual investors, and other debt and equity providers.

Scott represents clients in connection with institutional lending and mortgage loans, (including workouts and loan restructurings), joint venture acquisition and development transactions, purchase-and-sale transactions, land use projects, leasing and licensing, construction loans, private placements, and securitized financings. He also has experience with public financing transactions, including issuance of tax-exempt public debt.

Scott has represented clients in connection with transactions involving office buildings, retail centers, hotels, apartment complexes, industrial and warehouse buildings, medical office facilities, age-restricted and other residential developments, residential and commercial condominiums, restaurants, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial projects.

Scott is also active in local land use commissions, currently serving as chairman of the Marlborough (Conn.) Zoning Commission.
