Ian Stewart has defended complex litigation in state and federal courts for 25 years with a focus on product liability, complex general casualty, cannabis law, data privacy and cybersecurity, and intellectual property litigation. Ian is deputy regional managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Information Governance Leadership Committee.
As co-chair of the firm’s national Cannabis & Hemp Law Practice, Ian leads a national multidisciplinary team of lawyers who serve all aspects of the cannabis and hemp industries, as well as financial institutions and insurance companies that service those industries. Ian has been named to the prestigious Chambers USA 2020 guide in Cannabis Law.
Ian also is co-chair of the national Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice. He regularly defends data privacy class-action litigation and litigated matters involving invasion of privacy, right of publicity and statutory consumer claims.
