Mai Muto is an associate in the international law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, based in its Brussels office. Her practice focuses on European competition law including merger control, cartels and abuse of dominance.
Mai has written on competition law, most recently as co-author with partner Wilko van Weert, on Preparations for Introduction of an EU System of Collective Redress, published in Journal of the Japanese Institute of International Business Law, June 2011.
Prior to joining McDermott, Mai worked in the services sector in Japan and also in a Tokyo law firm.
Mai is admitted to the Bar of Daiichi Tokyo (Japan) and the Bar of Brussels (Belgium – French).
