Mark Crandley is a partner in the Litigation Department of Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Indianapolis office. Mr. Crandley has a diverse practice that concentrates on appeals, constitutional and government law, commercial litigation, and probate disputes. He is the co-chair of the firm’s Appeals and Critical Motions Practice Group and a founder and chair of the firm’s Government Litigation Practice Group.
Through his appellate work, Mr. Crandley has represented clients in scores of appeals in both state and federal courts. Mr. Crandley has argued before the Indiana Supreme Court on numerous occasions and has also argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Ohio Court of Appeals. Mr. Crandley has also authored dozens of amicus curiae briefs, including amicus briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court.
