Masten Childers, III joined the Lexington office of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC as an Associate in 2013. Mr. Childers is a member of the firm's Litigation department where he focuses his practice on bank litigation, estate planning litigation, personal injury and closely-held business services. As an estate planning litigator, he represents beneficiaries of the estate in protecting their inheritance. He also represents excluded heirs or prior beneficiaries, such as a sibling or spouse who was unfairly slighted or cut out of the will entirely. Mr. Childers handles estate and trust litigation throughout the state of Kentucky. Not only can he intervene to resolve issues and assist with the administration when the parties are amenable, he can also provide strong representation as a formidable opponent in court during contested probate proceedings.
