Matthew Stein has extensive litigation and trial experience, representing and counseling employers on a wide range of issues. He represents clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Matthew handles all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including taking and defending depositions, conducting oral arguments and negotiating settlements.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Matt worked at a NYC-based boutique law firm focusing on employment law, and for six years before that he served as a senior counsel at the New York City Law Department, where he specialized in defending civil rights cases in the Southern and Eastern districts of New York. Prior to law school, Matt worked in global retail development and licensing for major corporations in the entertainment industry.
