Philippe A. Lebel is an associate in the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group. He resides in Drinker Biddle’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.
Philippe represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blower, trade secrets, and breach of contract litigation, in both the single-plaintiff and class-action context, at both the trial and appellate level, and before administrative agencies. In particular, he has represented several publicly-traded companies in connection with single-plaintiff and class action discrimination claims, and has handled numerous class and/or representative wage and hour actions from investigation through class certification briefing or settlement. Philippe also represents employers in connection with traditional labor law matters, such as labor arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. Additionally, he counsels clients to ensure compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws.
In addition to his labor and employment experience, Philippe previously has represented clients in environmental and general commercial litigation matters.
