Rachel N. Bach

Rachel focuses on intellectual property litigation, primarily on complex patent cases as well as trademark litigation.

With a strong technical background and a degree in mechanical engineering, she has participated in cases involving a wide variety of technologies, including flash-memory chips, medical devices, digital displays, LED lighting, protective cases, hospital beds, gantry cranes and industrial lifts, security devices, software, and business methods.

Rachel has substantial experience in all phases of patent litigation, including pre-filing analyses, fact and expert discovery, Markman briefing, summary judgment briefing, and trial preparation in district court and post-trial proceedings before the Federal Circuit. Rachel also has considerable experience in bringing and defending actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Rachel regularly assists clients in maintaining, protecting, and enforcing clients’ trademark portfolios at the Patent and Trademark Office.
