November 15, 2017 – Proposed Changes to Pesticide Registration Amendment Procedures (Notification, Non-Notification and Minor Formulation Amendments)
Our inaugural edition of FIFRA 30/30™ will focus on changes to EPA’s guidelines for notification, non-notification and minor formulation amendments, which EPA proposed on September 6, 2017 (82 FR 42094).
Many of the proposed changes would require formal amendments where only notifications currently are required, or notifications where no notification currently is required. Among other changes, EPA proposes to require formal amendments for routine changes in registered sources of technical active ingredients. EPA also is considering the proper procedure for adding voluntary inert disclosures to labeling. When final, EPA’s proposal will replace fully the guidelines in PR Notice 98-10. Comments on EPA’s proposed changes are due no later than December 5, 2017 (82 FR 46491).
